Competency-based assessment
Every question is tied to a chapter and a question type, with a marking scheme. Marks are kept per question, so you see which skill a child is missing.
Teacher does: sets the paper as usual.
Navam brings NEP-aligned teaching, AI help for teachers and full visibility for management into the way your school already works. Five apps, one secure backend, set up around your school.
Every line above is something a teacher, parent or accountant used to do by hand.
See every class, fee and approval in one place, with a record of who changed what.
Papers, marking and diaries take minutes. More time goes to the class.
Feedback on each answer, not just a total. Fees and notices on the phone.
Results with the teacher's comments and chapter material in the LMS.
Invoices, part payments, receipts, payroll and expenses with approvals.
Teachers keep their usual flow. Navam turns it into competency records, holistic progress and learning in the child's own language.
Every question is tied to a chapter and a question type, with a marking scheme. Marks are kept per question, so you see which skill a child is missing.
Teacher does: sets the paper as usual.
Papers can be written in a 360° mode, and every answer gets written feedback that parents can read. A number on its own tells a family very little.
Teacher does: reviews AI feedback, edits a line.
A project-based paper mode builds case studies and real-life tasks from the same chapter notes, so activity learning does not need extra planning.
Teacher does: picks the mode.
Question papers in English, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil, for classes 3 to 12. The website and apps follow the family's language.
Teacher does: chooses the language.
Writing papers, marking answer sheets and filling profiles from documents. The AI suggests, the teacher decides, and nothing is final until a person approves it.
Marks must add up to the total before a paper can be saved.
Unsure answers are highlighted for the teacher. The AI's draft is never shown to students.
Consent is recorded under the DPDP Act and ID numbers come back masked.
Short, story-led video lessons for every chapter, organised by class, subject and chapter, just as your school teaches them.
Change who sees what, add an approval step and switch the look. The app on the right updates as you go, and every change is written to the audit log, just as in the real admin panel.
Pick a scope for each module. Their classes means a teacher only sees the classes they are assigned to; Linked means a parent only sees their own children.
Field-level control on the teacher profile. For example, an accountant may see salary but not documents; a parent sees only name and qualification.
Who must approve a diary entry before parents see it. Add or remove steps.
On the left, the admin's permission table. On the right, what the parent or teacher sees on their next tap. Flip the switch.
Real screens from navam. Personal details are blurred and the school's name is replaced.
Schools hold children's records, fees and salaries. Navam protects every school with four layers that run on every request, and no part of the app can skip them.
Proves who is calling and fixes which school they reach.
Your school decides what each role may do, and changes it any time without waiting for us.
Checks those rules on every call, down to the single record and field.
Records what happened, including every refused attempt.
Pick what someone tries to do and watch the checks it passes through.
Roles add up: someone who is both a teacher and a class teacher gets what both allow. Rule changes apply from the very next request. New modules arrive with sensible defaults and never overwrite what your school has set.
Each school's data lives in its own database. A sign-in belongs to one school, and a request aimed at any other school is refused.
Password, OTP by SMS or Google, switched on per school. OTP codes are single-use, expire quickly and are limited per phone, and the reply never reveals whether a number is registered.
Roles are read from the school's database on every request, never trusted from the device. Changing a password signs the person out everywhere.
Stored only as one-way hashes, so no one, including us, can read one back. Short, common or all-digit passwords are refused.
Hide a field from a role, or let them see it but not change it. Salary can be visible to the accountant and no one else.
Database addresses and integration keys are stored encrypted and only ever shown masked.
Sign-in attempts are rate-limited, traffic runs over HTTPS, and uploaded files are private, opened only through links that expire.
DPDP consent before AI reads a document. Aadhaar and bank numbers are masked, and document contents are never logged.
Every update snapshots your database first, checks no rows were lost, and rolls back if anything fails.
Apps never hold an AI key or talk to the AI service. Your school can switch AI tools off or set daily limits.
The log is written automatically, so no feature can forget to record. Passwords are never written to it. Entries are read-only in the app: the admin can see all of them, and other roles can be allowed to see their own. Each school chooses how long to keep entries (one year by default, or forever), and every approval step also keeps its own history on the record.
Navam is set up around your needs and your budget. Pick the modules you want. You don't pay a single rupee for the ones you don't.
Always included: the apps for your roles, sign-in, roles and permissions, approvals, audit log, notifications, file storage and your school's own database.
If we take the time and headache away from teachers, management and parents, everyone can put their energy into the student's education.
Should understand what they learn, not just memorise it for the exam.
Should not lose their evenings to repetitive tasks and paperwork.
Should have complete control and visibility over everything in the school.
Should know how their child is really doing, in their own language.
We started with a simple goal: make good education easy to run, in every school in India, whatever its size or budget.
Official education policies, curriculum frameworks and learning platforms, from India and abroad, in one place for school leaders, teachers, students and parents.
